QUEERDOS ‘till death do us part

Against the backdrop of the social challenges of equal rights and the erasure of queer history, QUEERDOS till death do us part embarks on a transformative journey. The show invites diverse identities within the LGBTQIA+ community facing the deafening silence surrounding the struggles of queer and transgender people to collective action to unite our destinies/to reclaim our rights.

Using choral performance techniques and movement, performers illuminate the shared journey for acceptance, equality and understanding. We want the stage to become a prism that refracts the individual experiences of its cast, highlighting the resilience embedded in our collective history.

As the stories unfold, the collective invites the audience to not only witness but to engage in amplifying narratives that have long been relegated to the periphery. We celebrate the inherent strength of togetherness, confront societal norms, and unapologetically reclaim space for the LGBTQIA+ community in this predominantly heterosexual "till death do us part" world!
