Cat, a Romanian-born non-binary artist of Romani descent, dives into the confluence of performance, deep bodywork, trauma politics, and social activism, focusing on LGBTQIA+ communities. In 2018, Cat launched QUEERDOS Kollektiv as a dynamic platform for queer creativity with transformative inclusivity.

With a foundation in formal training of the K.S. Stanislavski Actor Training and extensive research into physical theatre and applied theatre methodologies, Cat's practice is committed to nurturing spaces of inclusivity and healing through theatrical and performative work.

Cat graduated from Mozarteum University in Salzburg in 2023 upon completing their MA thesis, "Building communitas in liminal spaces through a queering of theatre methodology."

Since 2015, Cat has been based in Berlin, channelling the city's queer energy to craft independent performative encounters, tailor workshops and direct spoken word theatre productions.
