Petros Mandalos (* 1985, Greece) is a theater-maker, performer, and theater educator based in Berlin, working in the field of performing arts. The focal points of his work are biographical approaches to theater and performance and the exploration of LGBTQI* narratives. Working on topics of discrimination, the perspective of the outsider, and identity - he often blends his work with fictional elements and humor.
He studied biographical-documentary theatre in Universität der Künste (UdK), Berlin, acting at the Delos School of Drama in Athens and Theaterpädagogik (BuT) at the Akademie der kreativen Bildung (AdkB) - Interkulturell Aktiv in Berlin, and has participated in physical and ritual theatre education programs at the Grotowski Institute in Wrocław.
Since 2019 he has been collaborating with the ‘Queerdos Kollektiv’ on issues of visibility and representation of queer identity working with autobiographical / autofiction methods.
