Jenny Browne (*1992) is an educator, translator, writer and poet living in Berlin. She has a BA(Hons) in English and Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University in the UK, where she grew up. She has been performing with Queerdos Collective since 2018 and has also led creative writing workshops in Hungary (2019) and Moldova (2021) for Queerdos ACTing Up. In her workshops she uses poetry as a tool to reach deeper levels of self-expression. Since 2013 she has performed spoken word at festivals and on stages, including Entheos, Domicilium and Neutral Norway. Her creative writing, which explores queer intimacy and mental health, has been published by Pilot Press London, Bridge and Artist Artist.
Jenny works as a German teacher (DaF) for adults at LALIA Language School and as a creative language assistant at a bilingual preschool. She helps run "Q-Kollektiv", a monthly queer youth club for German teenagers, where she organises talks and workshops. She worked as a cultural journalist for ExBerliner Magazine (2017) and hosted a radio show on Radio Banda Larga (2019). In 2020, she collaborated with pop artist ZAPHO on her single Collide.
